This little section is extremely important due to the author want his possible readers to have the right impression and understanding that the author of the web-site is competent and objective in his discussions of hypnosis.
For the first time I came across with hypnosis in 1969 when I worked as an assistant of a Young Pioneer leader in a camp “Svyazist” in Aktash region near Tashkent. I was telling scary stories to naughty boys before going to bed. Probably, my voice, artistry and a sincere desire to calm down the noisy Young Pioneer unit had its influence and usually in 15 minutes all boys were fast asleep.
Several years have passed till the moment I felt some kind of special confidence in being able to calm down and suggest respect to any opponent regardless age, gender and religion. This quality has saved me numerous amounts of time during my life in extreme situations; sometimes even have given me significant advantages in interpersonal relations.
For the first time specialized literature on hypnosis fell into my hands in 1990 when I was entering Second Medical University after Sechenov in Moscow. I opened the book by L. Shertok and I was stupefied. I was astonished by the simplicity of material description and the depth of information performance. I have written the summary of the whole book. It is one of the best publications by this great doctor and popularizer of hypnosis.
Probably it is reasonable to study medicine in more or less conscious age than 20-25 years old when people already have some life experience and they become really interested in this great science. All nights long I was learn by rote anatomy and connected with it Latin. At that time I was 35, but I still remember how every bone is called, for example, radiocarpal articulation… Then I took great interest in physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and, of course, surgery and therapy. All in all, I loved all departments by turn as the subjects were added to the schedule. Finally neurology and psychiatry appeared in my life. This is already brain, mind and behaviour! Topics are for chosen ones. In general, the profession of hypnologists imposes development in at least three directions which are improvement of practical skills, teaching the subject to colleagues, and make researches in this sphere.
First steps in practical activity. For the first time I carried out hypnosis with the support of associate professor Valakhvyanskiy. Two other associate professors of the department of psychiatry were also invited. The success was staggering.
Then in 1996 I was accepted as a student by way of exception on the psychotherapy courses at Tashkent Institute of Advanced Medical Studies which were run by professor Tursunkhodzhayeva. After taking a month theory course, I was invited to work separately from the general group with difficult patients.
A huge role in my special interest to hypnoses played head of the Surgery Department at Tashkent Medical University professor Ataliyev. When studying at a university I was keen on surgery and spent lots of time in surgical. Once professor Ataliyev gave me advice, “Choose speciality that doesn’t look like the majority of those taught in the university… A lot of students choose surgery and the competition severe and not everyone can bear it. On the contrary, in exclusive speciality you will be the best.”

In 1999 I took part in an International seminar on Hypnosis in Athens. My qualification was confirmed by Brat Goldman, a hypnologist from the USA, and was got the certificate “Master Hypnotist”.
In 2000 I became a member of an international association "National Guild of Hypnotists".
Membership in NGH
Starting from that time I’ve been carrying out seminars on reflexotherapy and hypnosis regularly.
My undoubtful liking for chemistry allowed me to study biochemical processes that tale part in brain. My first scientific publications were about theoretical background of metabolism in brain, generally about catecholamine series and other biologically active neuromediators. I also made an attempt to carry out laboratory biochemical researches; however I had to postpone them as the reagents were extremely expensive. A numerous amount of the specialized literature I’ve read allowed me to make a choice in favour of another field. Particularly, my engineering education and knowledge of physiology of sensor systems drew my attention to the investigation of sensor deprivation conditions. Practical skills in hypnosis made it possible for me to model the state of systems with different modality that correlate with deprivation both during my classes and in neurophysiologic laboratory.
1996. Passed a course on Psychotherapy at Tashkent Institute of Advanced Medical Studies with participation of Psychotherapy and Addictology Departments of First Tashkent Medical University.
On September 19, 2008, I defended my dissertation on the topic “Psychophysiological Correlates that Objectify Hypnotic Catalepsy” on profession 19.00.02 – psychophysiology and I was given a grade of a candidate of psychological science.
0n march 10, 2010, my degree of a Doctor of Philosophy on Psychophysiology was acknowledged by the International Organization of Academic Diploma Recognition in Greece.
